3. Safety-Critical Use

Never Forget Baby is designed to support caregivers in responding to potential child or pet endangerment situations. Because the Services include safety-related functionality:

  • certain alerts, event logs, and escalation data may be processed immediately;
  • emergency features may continue operating in the background where supported by the device OS;
  • network failure or disabled permissions may reduce system functionality.

The Services are assistive tools and not a guarantee against injury, death, heat exposure, or any emergency outcome.

4. How Alerts and Escalation Work

When configured by the user, the Services may:

  • detect occupancy and loss of proximity between phone and seat device;
  • capture location associated with an incident;
  • send push notifications to the user;
  • send SMS or similar messages to emergency contacts;
  • log acknowledgement, return, and resolution actions.

We use only the information reasonably necessary to provide these features.

5. Sharing of Information

We may share information with:

We may use third-party vendors and infrastructure providers for:

Our Services are intended for use by adults, parents, guardians, and caregivers. We do not knowingly provide standalone Services directly to children. Any information relating to a child is processed solely in connection with caregiver-directed safety monitoring.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including countries that may have different data protection laws.

12. Third-Party Services

The Services may rely on third-party platforms or providers such as mobile operating systems, cloud providers, push notification providers, SMS providers, analytics tools, and authentication providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

13. Do Not Rely on the Service as Emergency Dispatch

Never Forget Baby is not a substitute for calling emergency services. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a live, supported product feature, the Services do not guarantee direct contact with 911 or any emergency dispatcher.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice through the Services or by other appropriate means.
